Through innovative, kid-focused programming, Wee The People aims to:

​

  • INSPIRE children to notice injustice and discover the power of their own voices

  • EXPLORE traditions of resistance and joy through the arts

  • SUPPORT adults in opening difficult conversations -- with kids and with each other --  about difference, equity and justice

 

Wee The People is grounded in the belief that if kids can understand fairness, they can

understand justice -- and that adults play a huge role in connecting kids’ sense of fairness

in their own lives to larger issues of injustice in the world.
